Thanks to Cherryflava for picking this one up.
21 000 dancers got the feeling from the Black Eyed Peas on the Oprah show recently in Chicago when they performed one of the biggest dance ‘flash mobs’ to celebrate the 24th season of her show. Setup by the show’s producers, apparently Oprah had no idea that this was going to happen.
So exactly what is a flash mob? According to Oprah’s website, it is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place and perform an unusual action to surprise onlookers. In this case, it seems that 21 professional dancers taught 800 Oprah fans, who in turn taught the dance moves to the 21 000 people at this event. That’s pretty cool.
How did they do it? Find out here .
Even though this is pretty amazing, choreographing a dance involving 21 000 people, it’s still not quite as impressive as the great T-Mobile Flash Mob dance at Liverpool station. If you haven’t seen it yet, check it out below.
